The Christian BioWiki is an online guide to the statements and positions on bioethical issues across the wide spectrum of denominations and movements that self-identify within the Christian Church throughout the world. The Christian BioWiki is a resource developed and maintained through the Everyday Bioethics project of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity. The Center is a Christian bioethics research center at Trinity International University that explores the nexus of biomedicine, biotechnology, and our common humanity. The statements and positions presented on this wiki do not necessarily represent the positions of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity or its staff unless otherwise specified. Inclusion of a given denomination or movement within the Christian BioWiki is not an evaluation of the orthodoxy of the respective denomination or movement, nor does it suggest an endorsement of the particular bioethical statements.

Launched in early 2012, the Christian BioWiki was developed initially through the work of research staff and interns at The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity, including contributions from Michael J. Sleasman, PhD; Heather Zeiger, MA; and Paula Neiweem. Additional work by Bryan Just in 2018 standardized all existing content, as well as substantive content updates. However, the information currently displayed throughout the site includes edits made by many contributors over the history of the Christian BioWiki.

Wikis depend for their accuracy on contributions by people knowledgeable about the topics at hand. With your input, the Christian BioWiki can increase in accuracy and thoroughness. However, despite our careful efforts to verify the accuracy of contributions, the Center cannot guarantee the accuracy of any particular item included in the Christian BioWiki.
